Image Credit: Bird Bath, Illustration by Sozapato Take time out to pause, rest and immerse yourself in the sounds of the natural world with Bird Bath, a restorative sound installation bringing the birdsong of Sussex nature reserves and recovery sites into Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts.
For one day only during Dreamy Place, Bird Bath invites you to step away from the everyday and simply listen. Stay for as long or as little as you like, sit in silence and soak in the magic of nature’s song.
Bird Bath is a collaboration between musician and ecoacoustician Alice Eldridge (University of Sussex) and meditator and broadcaster Alistair Appleton (Mindsprings).
What to expect
Bird Bath is a relaxed, drop-in sound installation designed as a space to pause, sit and listen to recordings of local birdsong. You can stay for as long or as little as you like.
