In collaboration with Dreamy Place – and in addition to Telling Tales, Talking Trails: Digital Storytelling seminar day on Thursday 19 October – Preston Manor will be open to the public on Saturday 21 October for general visitors between 9.30am and 12pm midday.
Visitors will get the opportunity to use a new a new audio guide for Preston Manor that Brighton & Hove Museums have introduced. In collaboration with volunteers, Brighton & Hove Museums developed this spoken WebApp tour with transcribed text and images. It is accessed through the browser on your mobile device as you walk around the building, or it can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.

What to expect
Booking essential for this free opening morning (9.30am – 12pm) tour at Preston Manor. Relaxed/friendly. Accessible audio tour guide you can use via your own mobile device (volunteers on hand to help). The accessible toilet is located in the basement, and is accessed from the ground floor via the lift. Please ask staff for assistance to use the lift. The main entrance is on the ground floor of the house. Seating for visitors is available.
